COVID JOURNAL - JAN 04th 2022
Today is day 4 of the year 2022.
I woke up around 6 in the morning with a slight headache. I didn't have the mood to get off the bed, so I lazed around on the bed. Then I received a call on my number from a very important person in my life. That call, which I expected to get daily, came after a very long time. The call brought calm and warmth to me. After that call, I got up and freshened up around 10 o’clock. Mom served me with idlis and sambar, which I couldn’t have in one go as I wasn’t having an appetite. The awaited test results came in and everything was normal, according to the reports.
But then my body began to heat up, and my headache reappeared. To keep myself occupied, I started working on a client project which was due for delivery. Which was later followed by checking out my dream camera, the Canon F1 fully mechanical film camera. That made me feel restless about not being able to shoot any pictures with my recently acquired Canon TLb Mechanical Film camera. I hope I recover soon so that I can go out and click some pictures in the old school way. It was time. My mom called and served lunch. This time it was my native place's delicacy, ragi rice ball, with the sides of peanut chutney and scrambled eggs. After enjoying my lunch, I took my meds and dozed off.
Later that evening, I again rang up my favourite person and spoke at length with them, who was on a journey via sleeper bus. The feeling was amazing. I was sitting in between four walls talking to the person over a WhatsApp video call and being able to be a part of their journey virtually. Later, I remember I have work to do for my clients' work, my podcast, my blog and my classes from skillshare. I took a break and got back to work.
And guess what Mom called for dinner? It was roti and scrambled eggs. After having dinner, I tookmy meds. I guess I can't help it. After that, I posted my blog and podcast. I called it a memorable day thanks to my favourite person. That was me on January 4th, 2022.
Peace out.
